Description: | SUMMARY
Perform essential duties to prepare food for guests at Bear Claw while following all sanitation guidelines
| Duties: | ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Warmly interact with Bearclaw guests.
Assist guests by cooking their food and grilled purchases i.e. hamburgers, chicken, hot dogs.
Ensure a quality product to all Sundance guests on a daily basis. Typically it is a high volume of guests during a short period of time.
Responsible for setting up cooking station.
Maintain cleanliness of work station at all times.
Load/stock all supplies needed for the day/night and set up cooking station.
Work with kitchen staff in preparing food for the upcoming day as well as keep goods stocked throughout the day.
Run food to and from customers as needed.
Deliver food products to concession and/or BBQ site and return trays, etc. to the kitchen at the end of the day.
Maintain accurate, organized inventory.
Responsible for cleaning up cooking station and placing dirty items in the proper kitchen area at the end of each day.
Responsible for loading food items to and from concession via vehicle or on the chairlift and unloading and throwing away garbage on a daily basis.
Knowledgeable about all available concession products and services.
Knowledgeable about all aspects of the resort and their locations, ie: lodging, restaurants, owl bar, general store, lifts, rentals, and activities.

In order to best promote a positive, professional image that meets Sundance guest’s expectations, employees are required to dress in a professional, conservative fashion that is appropriate for their area. Please use the following as a minimum standard:
All aspects of the Personal Appearance policy (SPL#50) must be in compliance.
All employees are required to wear nametags at all times while on duty.
Clothing must be unwrinkled and clean, and in good condition (no rips, tears, or frays )
Jeans or snow pants are permitted
Sundance logo shirts or Bearclaw shirts are required
Closed toed shoes are required
Sundance logo baseball hats are permitted
Beanies or snow caps are not permitted inside

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous cooking experience in restaurant type atmosphere: cooking, grilling, prepping.
TECHNICAL/COMPUTER SKILLS
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current Food Handlers Permit
Must possess a valid U.S. Drivers’ License in good standing as determined by Sundance’s Insurance Company guidelines.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
