Description: | SUMMARY
Assists lodging guests with all service needs including, but not limited to: transportation, activities, dining and event ticketing. The Concierge staff are responsible for the overall guest experience and ensuring that guests are having seamless and full Sundance Experiences.
| Duties: | ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Warmly greets and thanks each guest.
Informs guests of all Sundance services and facilities available including all programming events.
Arranges transportation and or car rental for guests.
Advises on area activities, including Park City and Salt Lake City.
Arranges resort activities such as fly fishing, massages, hiking, mountain biking, dining reservations, horseback riding and event ticketing.
Must have exceptional communication and people skills.
Coordinates ordering and delivering of amenities to rooms for guests.
Coordinates shuttle arrivals and departures with transportation company.
Assists Front Desk with arriving and departing guests
Facilitates pre-arrival calls.
Sells tickets and coordinates wait-lists for Resort Events.
Proactively obtains, maintains, and distributes an inclusive knowledge of all resort amenities, activities and programming.
Must be able to multi-task and effectively work in a fast pace or leisure working environment.
Possess exceptional resort knowledge and guest service skills.

DRESS CODE
Sundance recognizes the impact that our image has on the guest’s impression of the resort and the perception of our ability to provide professional service to our clientele. In order to best promote a positive, professional image that meets Sundance guest’s expectations, employees are required to dress in a professional, conservative fashion that is appropriate for their area. Please use the following as a minimum standard:
All aspects of the Personal Appearance policy (SPL#50) must be in compliance.
Concierge staff are required to wear nametags at all times while on duty.
Clothing must be unwrinkled and clean, and in good condition (no rips, tears, or frays regardless of whether accidental or fashionably placed).
Blue jeans are not permitted.
Men’s shirts must be tucked in.
Appropriate skirt length is from the knee to the ankle.
A tailored fit is required of all clothing.
Tank tops, halter tops tube tops, and spaghetti straps are prohibited.
Sleeveless shirts are permitted for females.
Bare midriffs are prohibited.
Proper footwear for your department is required.
Dress sandals are permitted for females.
Flip flops are prohibited in all areas.
Tennis shoes are prohibited.
Tee-shirts are prohibited.
Hats are prohibited.
Concierge dress must reflect a business/casual look.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
TECHNICAL/COMPUTER SKILLS
Must possess a working knowledge of Power point, word processing, spreadsheets, internet navigation and electronic mail. SMS knowledge helpful.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The incumbent must posses the ability to speak and read English fluently and accurately. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
