Description:

The Training Coordinator/Specialist administers and supports the company training program, helping to ensure that employee training needs are defined and met. This training position will work with department managers, department training leads and quality team members to ensure that inspection readiness and compliance is maintained. The position will also see that employees are trained on quality systems, primarily electronic document, quality management systems, safety standards, and compliance regulations.

Duties:

1. Develop training materials and assessments for core Quality Systems in training topics (i.e. regulatory, compliance and other topics)

2. Deliver training on compliance-related topics (such as new hire compliance orientation and annual training refreshers)

3. Assist department training sponsors in the development of effective delivery tools such as on-line and blended instruction

4. Train and assist employees in their use of the electronic document and quality management systems

5. Work with training sponsors/managers to develop training curricula as needed

6. Manage employee training and personnel files for the quality department

7. Participate in continuous improvement projects such as training related computer system validation and change controls, updating and writing SOPs and developing new training business processes

8. Perform other quality/compliance-related activities as needed

Qualifications:

1. BS degree with 2-5 experience in company-oriented training environment

2. Candidates with experience in life science/healthcare training are highly preferred

3. Minimum of 1+ years working in a regulated environment

4. Strong presentation, communication, problem solving and project management skills

5. Strong customer service mindset with a proactive, self-directed working style

6. Familiarity with web-based learning/online learning systems

7. Working knowledge of MS Office, including MS Access
