Description: |
| The Web Developer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the full suite of SirsiDynix web sites (internets/extranets/intranets) as well as administrating and maintaining the servers that host these web properties. |
Duties: |
| The Web Developer will develop and maintain corporate web sites, provide best practice guidance to the user community, document configurations and changes, identify/implement solutions and enhancements that meet business requirements, and perform other duties as assigned. |
Qualifications: |
The ideal candidate will possess a service-minded attitude, exhibit excellent communication skills, and have the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
The ideal candidate will also have experience in the following areas: computer data and databases to drive integrated eMarketing campaigns; Linux/Unix server administration; Apache, SQL/MySQL, Unix, Ruby on Rails, AJAX, PHP, XML/XSLT, JavaScript, CSS, and CRM/customer database systems.
Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS degree in computer science, software engineering, or related software engineering experience plus 6-18 months experience developing websites with demonstrated knowledge of HTML/XHTML source code.
