Duties: |
The Patient Accounts Supervisor is responsible for the day to day supervision of a team of Reimbursement Specialists charged with collection of patient balances for clinical laboratory testing services. Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Interacts with patients, clinicians, insurers and department management
• Coordinates training of staff
• Implements new procedures that fulfill departmental and company objectives

Qualifications: |
Minimum Requirements:
Qualified candidates must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, be dependable, detail-oriented, goal-oriented, professional, and able to build teams and motivate employees while working under pressure. Supervisory experience in a collections setting is required.
*Preference is given to candidates with:
• Experience in medical billing and collections, DSO reduction, HIPAA regulations and web-pay credit card processing services.
• College experience or equivalent industry certification.
