Duties: |
| Responsibilities will include preparation of material balances, hydraulic calculations, development of Process Flow Diagrams and Piping and Instrument Diagrams including process control scheme; selection, sizing, and specification of equipment, process pipe sizing, preparation of equipment data sheets, selection of materials of construction; will interface with equipment vendors to define equipment capability and budget costs; will perform feasibility studies and conceptual engineering for proposed projects.

Qualifications: |
| BS in Metallurgical Engineering; seven plus years experience in metallurgical and/or mineral processing, preferably in design although operations experience will also be considered; knowledge of and experience in design or operation of separation and recovery process unit operations for precious and/or non-ferrous metals is required, as well as familiarity with typical process equipment such as pumps, flotation cells, grinding mills, etc.; excellent communication skills with other engineering disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical/Instrument, Civil, and Project Management, as well as with equipment vendors.
Preferred Qualifications: MS degree; PE registration
