Description: |
HeritageWest Credit Union is looking for an enthusiastic, positive, service oriented individual for our Grantsville Branch. The primary purpose of this position is to assist HeritageWest Credit Union deliver on it's mission: Guiding our members to reach their financial goals and dreams. To achieve this mission this position must deliver high quality service to both internal and external members. A key element in this service delivery is to identify the members' financial needs and recommend an appropriate credit union solution. In addition, this position will provide a wide variety of assigned teller tasks associated with the processing of member transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, posting of transactions, money orders, and travelers checks. Balances cash drawer at the end of the day or shift.

Duties: |
Provide a variety of member financial transactions involving receipt and payment of money and keeping records of money and negotiable instruments involved in the transactions.
Identify and recommend products and services beneficial to member's needs.
Attend to member questions and concerns and refer them to appropriate internal resources for resolution. |
Qualifications: |
High school graduate, general education degree (GED), or equivalent.
Exceptional customer service skills are essential. Ability to effectively communicate courteously and professionally with members regarding their accounts and credit union products and services.
Strong math and computer skills.
Cash handling and teller or retail experience preferred. Ability to work as part of a team is essential. Must be available Monday through Saturday. |
