Description: |
| Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database. Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. |
Duties: |
• Programming for in house system: C# dot.Net programming. Including Webpages, Winforms, Services, Webservices.
• System Architect (installation, monitoring, support, and fail-over of production environment in 2 hosted locations): VMWare ESX, Windows 2003 Server, Linux, SANs, VLANs, System Monitoring.
• Security (design and maintaining security for production environment): Encryption, Hashing, IPSEC, Firewalls (ISA Server), Protocol Filtering, IDS.
• DBA (regular maintenance, replication setup and fail-over testing): Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Database Mirroring, Maintenance.
• Reporting (setup and maintenance of reporting database, creating and revising reports for business needs): Microsoft Report Server, T-SQL, Transactional Replication, Analysis Services.

Qualifications: |
•Required 5+ years emphasis as a DBA with SQL and development skills
•Reporting data analysis, data mining
•Microsoft intelligence
•Required SQL certified
•No less than 5 years experience as a DBA
•Has 5 years current Microsoft Exchange experience (prefer certification)
•Strong working knowledge of C#
•Understand scalability
•Hands on current 3-5 years working knowledge of SQL
•Required BS degree in Computer Sciences
•Microsoft Certification Required
•Ability to speak and read English
•Strong technical documentation skills
•Must be a strong self starter who takes initiative
•Must have excellent self-discipline
•Values and understands data security at all levels
•Prefer someone with HIPPA experience and/or PHI
•Additional knowledge with infrastructure design specifically supporting VMware, cluster, virtual environments
