Description:

Hotel Park City is a luxury boutique hotel with 54 suites and 6,500 square feet of meeting space and the only resort hotel on a golf course in Park City. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional looking to join a growing hotel management organization based out of the Rocky Mountains. The position is available immediately and is located at the base of Park City Mountain Resort and less than 5 minutes from Deer Valley Resort and the Canyons Resort. Duties:

Maintains aura of activity: Appearing busy even when times are slow, tasks are complete. “Snapping-to” for Guests providing sense of importance and urgency. Cleanliness of all Bell Equipment and areas, at all times. Glass, Carts, Stand, Porte-cochere, waste receptacles, walkways. Tracks requests and tasks to which he or she “owns.” Makes use of the task card. Provides Property Tour where requested, Escorts to all arriving Guests. Manages Valet Parking and Porte-Cochere flow through. Enforces Parking Rules. Maintains cognizance of “On-Stage” Conversation and word usage. Maintains professionalism of Greetings, Gratitude, and Farewells. Provides delivery and retrieval for Baggage and other requested items… anticipatory. Avoids needing to be prompted for assistance. Tracks group arrival, baggage tagging, inventory, special deliveries, to within 30 minutes. DOES NOT WAIT FOR GUEST TO ARRIVE IN ROOM. Maintains “here to help” ambiance. Avoids “extended hand, waiting for tip” impressions like the plague. Shows gratitude in being able to serve.

Qualifications:

Premium and upper end full service brand experience preferred Lifting, maneuvering, carrying heavy items up to 50 pounds unassisted or with use of dolly. Applicants who do not have legal permission to work in the United States will not be considered. Knowledge of Front Office Operations is beneficial. Previous experience in the hotel industry is preferred. This person must be able to work independently and as part of a team. High school graduate; college level accounting classes or equivalent work experience is required.
