Description: |
The Electronic Technician troubleshoots production and building systems to ensure equipment is fully operational at all times. Production departments include the Plate Room, Pressroom, and Mailroom. The building systems are located in the penthouse of the West Valley Plant.
Candidates must be willing and able to work evenings, weekends, etc as needed. This is a NIGHT position. ONLY THOSE INTERESTED IN THESE CONDITIONS NEED APPLY! |
Duties: |
• PLC interfaces (ladder logic)
• Analyze and repair motors and motor control systems including stepper motors, DC and variable frequency drives
• Troubleshoot production and building systems to ensure equipment s fully operational at all times

Qualifications: |
• 2 year degree in Electrical / Electronics or Equivalent Experience
• OR military services with dedicated training in electrical maintenance
• Must have sufficient technical knowledge to work with PLC’s, Devicenet, AC inverter drives and DC converters
• Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Working knowledge of all types of sensors
• Demonstrate knowledge of lock out / tag out regulations
• Work with 480V-3PH, 208-3PH, and 120VAC
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders continuously and quickly
• Ability to perform other duties outside of regular responsibilities as needed
• Able to read schematics and trouble shoot equipment
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
