Position Objective: The Digital Media Account Executive will be motivated, sales driven, and success focused and will work with direct and agency prospects to sell KSL.com online ad products and services. The position is responsible for increasing revenue through the development of new and existing relationships (with emphasis on new business development), developing and implementing concepts targeted to Internet advertisers, conducting in-depth advertiser needs analysis and responding with appropriate recommendations to address the client needs while promoting the different advertising options offered across all KSL.com affiliated websites.
Specific requirements of this position include:
• Identify and solicit new business from targeted direct accounts and digital agencies
• Bottom line sales responsibility – complete execution of signed agreements – for KSL.com advertising
• Monitor prospect and client websites and make proactive, creative suggestions for campaigns and improvements
• Keep up to date on online sales and marketing and commercial technology and techniques that can be applied to current and prospective clients
• Strong organizational and customer service skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and growing dynamic environment
• Self-motivated, with attention to detail
• Effective time management skills & ability to meet deadlines
Experience Required:
Candidates should have at least 5+ years New Media sales, Internet sales, marketing and advertising experience, and a proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales quotas. Strong contact list and working knowledge of top digital agencies/media planners a plus.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Outstanding project management skills and past consultative experience
• Excellent communication skills- written and verbal
• Self-starter, good at working independently and with a team, flexible, able to meet short deadlines
• Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Office products, Internet, social media (required)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
• Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.
• Lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion.
