Duties: |
| Duties:
· Solicits carriers to move loads and negotiates rates under the direction of the Account Manager
· Maximize profit margins
· Communicates with carriers at least twice daily through check call activity
· Builds carrier base and maintains accurate information as to lane activity
· Strategically focuses on long term, repeat relationships with carriers
· Ensures that all proper documents and screening is done prior to carrier being dispatched |
Qualifications: |
| Qualifications:
· Bachelors Degree Preferred
· Candidates must be aggressive, organized, and effective under pressure
· Have a proven sales background, documented success and are not afraid of a monthly number
· Effective sales and negotiation skills
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· Computer experience
· Ability to solve problems are a must
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
