position summary: a sales consultant is required to diligently execute the sales program and is a member of the stores leadership team. the position emphasizes skills in the areas of teamwork, customer service and sales in a retail environment. the sales consultant’s primary role will be to provide customer service and execute the sales presentations to prospective customers. the sales consultant position is often the first impression that customers have of simply mac; as a result, it is paramount that sales consultant’s uphold at all times and to the highest standards, the company’s mission statement and core values. the sales consultant position is a critical role in the company, and requires a well-rounded and determined individual that will take part in the growth of the company.

Duties: |
team building:
•effectively fulfill simply mac’s shared vision and objectives.
•ensure all customers are assisted in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
operations:
•ensure that the day to day operations including upholding store appearance, merchandise and reputability standards are met.
•assure uniformity and enforcement of the policies and procedures
sales goals:
•be an example by properly greeting and conducting sales presentations to all customers following the established guidelines, overcoming objections and attaching features and accessories.
•maintain above standard for personal sales.

Qualifications: |
essential skills and experience:
•apple & mac experience preferred.
•minimum of 1 year retail sales experience.
•proficient in microsoft applications.
