Description:

Baker (Lion House)
Part-time position, about 30 hours a week. Breads, rolls, pastries, cakes and desserts. Various days, Monday through Saturday, various hours. To comply with Department of Labor regulations employees must be 18 years of age or older to operate bakery equipment. Neat and clean in appearance, able to communicate in English with employees, able to move 50 pounds, good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity, must abide by Temple Square Hospitality Corporation’s 100% smoke-free policy, no previous baking experience required. Able to read a recipe and make it. $8.50 an hour and up depending on experience, no medical benefits, free meal, uniform. This job is temporary. It will last from approximately November 17 until after December 31, 2008.

Duties:

Baking Lion House products - Primarily our famous Lion House rolls. Keeps station clean and sanitary.
Afternoon/evening/flexible hours.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 or over to comply with Department of Labor regulations. Previous experience is not required. We are skilled at training people with the right traits and talents Good dexterity required. Successful applicants are expected to obtain a valid food handler permit. Neat and clean in appearance, able to communicate in English with employees, able to move 50 pounds, must abide by Corporation’s 100% smoke-free policy.
