Description: |
Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, performs custodial duties in the maintenance of public buildings.

Duties: |
| Essential functions: check all outside doors at the beginnning of each shift; clean offices and public areas every day as needed; clean restrooms; clean glass doors, wood doors; put out garbage cans as required; scrub floors, strip and wax floors as needed; clean all windows inside and out; set up rooms for various meetings; perform lighting maintenance and operate security equipment; inform Facility Manager when supplies are needed; maintain necessary certifications; perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager. |
Qualifications: |
Must possess a valid Utah Drivers License. Must be 18 or older. Prior custodial experience helpful, but not required. Must have knowledge of and be able to maintain mechanical ststems. Must work well with the public and in teams. Must be able to work with heating and cooling systems and lighting and security systems.
Knowledge of floor maintenance. Ability to operate and maintain floor maintenance machinery, such as vacuum, foloor polisher, etc. |
